Work with stack testing and emissions Field Office. Assist with writing protocols, test plans, budgeting, field sampling and data reduction aspects of emission testing. Assist with improving the overall effectiveness of stack testing program. Communication and coordination with local office Project Managers and Technical Services to facilitate final proposals, test plans, and test reports. Perform Part 60 and 75 RATAs using U.S. EPA Reference Methods. Promote and participate in conference calls and facilitate and coordinate: revenue forecasting, project planning, project scheduling, business development, technical training, and customer service activities. Ensure that productivity level of the office is maintained and play an active partnering role in managing key customer relationships. Assist with supervision and training of all team members in assigned local office (6 to 7 employees). Recommend status changes/promotions and disciplinary action as necessary. Monitor staffing levels at the office level. Assist enforcement of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding the safe and effective use of equipment, maintenance programs and other policies as required. Ensure vehicle and test equipment cleanliness and readiness of local office (including parts and supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance). Manage office P&L at Gross Margin level. Travel to client’s sites as needed (up to 50% of time). Requires B.S. degree in Engineering, Science or related field plus 2 years of experience in environmental testing and project management and knowledge of emissions testing protocols, field sampling and data reduction aspects of emission testing; understanding of complex spreadsheets and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with U.S. EPA Reference Methods; and QI Certification Groups I &III.
