AST Sponsors 1st Annual Alabama Environmental Professionals’ Conference

Join us at the inaugural Alabama Environmental Professionals’ Conference held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham, AL on May 2, 2017. The groups hosting this conference are comprised of environmental consultants, lawyers, health & safety professionals, education, state and local regulators, service providers (contractors, landfills, etc.), industry, and conservation organizations. BEPA serves the Birmingham community while NEPA serves North Alabama. Each group meets eight times per year and gather as friends to share common professional and personal interests. Birmingham Environmental Professionals Association (BEPA) is comprised of environmental consultants, lawyers, health & safety professionals, education (they currently have representatives from Samford, Birmingham Southern, and from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa), state and local regulators, service providers (contractors, landfills, etc.), industry, conservation organizations, and more. The conference also provides an opportunity for environmental professionals seeking continuing education credit. This course will provide up to 7.25 hours of credit for Professional Engineers, Professional Geologists, and Qualified Credentialed Professionals. Certificates of Attendance will be available on the day of the program.This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission of the Alabama State Bar for a maximum of 4.5 hours’ credit.
